VALUE ADDITION IS AWAY OF LIFE

Some of the great products and brands are Lambreta scooter, Premier Padmini Car, Carbon paper, Travelers check, Pager, Black & white T.V., VCD & VCP of Panasonic and many more products are completely out dated.

WHY? Once upon a time they were market leaders. They were great brands. Today they have no space in the market.

My personal observation is they were not committed to the philosophy of VALUE ADDITION.

Each organization should add changes in the product with the time. These organizations were not able to understand the time and break the rule of value addition.

I was conducting my course for B.E (Graduate in Engineering) and MBA managers, who are right now smart professionals. One of the participant was answering my question,” what value addition you have made in your life after your degree programme?

He says: Nothing. I am not aware of. I was thinking that I have completed my academics, now no need of further learning. I can survive with these knowledge and skills. I have never thought that way. Learning was over. I am so occupied with day to day priorities that I have not thought of. Now I realize that I have to corrected my self. I will set the goal and will start walking on the way “value of addition.”

I say: Do you know the meaning of word LIFE? (Learning Institute of Everybody).Each one has to update himself with knowledge or skills or require information.

Do you think it is a value addition to your life and C.V.?

Do you know that you have to update your C.V.?

Why we have a habit to live with almost same bio-note. How many of us have attitude to upgrade our profile by some value addition.

Value addition is very effective demonstrated by SONY and Nokia. Digital camera T-200 was introduced before a year and today it is out dated. Now you get T-300 model .That is what value addition.

Value addition should be an attitude of the organization and individual.
