Success comes before work only in dictionary

People have asked me this question. What is the difference between a job and task and work? I find this question most relevant when we examine the cause of inner happiness.
Work is contribution which could be realized with your presence or absence and you see success in it and which give happiness. While a job or a task is limited in its narrow sense.
When you finish your work you feel happy and there is never the risk of losing happiness after you have satisfactorily completed your work. You find an involvement occupied as you were with your work. Work is food to your soul. You do it because you love it. You think you are born for it. Money becomes secondary. Work is a silent prayer to God and it sustains life.
Lata Mangeskar is singing for last couple of decades. Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan is performing for last 40 years. Sachin Tendulkar is playing cricket for last 20 years. I call it work. This work gives happiness and your service to the world is acknowledged by humanity at large.
Let your work speak for itself. Let the flow go on…
I find cricketer Rahul Dravid playing for two-and-half-day-long innings in the scorching sun at 40 degree centigrade the epitome of work. He hit a double century and I could see satisfaction, joy and charm on his face.
Why?
Because he lived with his work and played to his full. Once you start living with work you get joy out of it and your success shall be considered as your service to the world. These services will give you all the happiness you need on this planet.
I am unable to distinguish the difference between hard work and smart work. I had never seen hard work. You might have engaged with laborious work for long hours and for number of years. World probably would term it hard work. But I never see it as hard work because I never saw it as hard work in the first place. I know only one thing, and that is, I was involved fully in what I did and the world has benefited from the service of mine.
Interestingly, you can work for eight hours or more. But can you eat for eight hours or more continuously?; or drink for eight hours or more or perform some activities like shopping or sight-seeing? No. It is only the work to which you are devoted to can make you persevere for 8 or more hours or for unlimited time.
You cannot live without work as life will come to a standstill. Even the laziest man has to move around or he will waste away to death. It is rightly said that work is worship. A raison d’être of life.
