I have worked with Four hundred business units as catalyst , and I have never seen any management tool that is even close to value addition. I have not seen Director Value addition. I have never found value addition actions in KRA of team members.
I have known for some time that business owners are too busy managing their day to day business to be able to step back and take an objective look at their operations … The approach Retail Advisers takes to measuring performance through their ‘Value Creation Insights©’ tools – as well as their implementation and analysis ‘Execution Roadmap’ – fits perfectly with my theory of value drivers. I believe we have tools and abilities that are superior to those of many other consulting companies, including the big boy.
Value addition Is always beneficial. Can we add value to life ever year? can we add value to products or company or nation every year ? You need to add value every year.
You could be minister or manager or management professor but your silent responsibility is to add value to where ever you are. How someone can live for decades without adding value to career or contribution.
Sweeper can also add value to his job by contributing positively. Taxi driver can add value to civic senses .Manager can certainly add value to organization which have offered him food to eat for life time.

Can you start celebrating any special day like chocolate day in company or organization ? You send across chocolates with note “hello! Chocolate day – nice time.

Can you add value to your clients? Can you make differences in packing without new expenses? Can you execute an idea which saved energy in company?

1Mail or email an industry-specific article or link to your client with a personal, handwritten note saying “I thought you would find this interesting” etc.

2 Quarterly progress reports. Send your clients quarterly progress reports and outline what you accomplished together as a team and how you can help them get where they want to go next.

3 A free sample. Give away free samples of your products or products of local retailers. For example a B&B with a great jam can give away free samples.

4 Offer annual meetings to your clients to discuss business at no charge – review progress and goals together for the next year.

5 Prepare separate research report for your clients that in what part of world they could develop business in coming years … with small gift note…
