I AM NOT PLEASED WITH WHAT I HAVE DONE

Sachin Tendulkar has no intention of applying the brakes on his record breaking career and instead wants to score 15,000 Test runs and win the 2011 world cup.

Read in his words, “I have given no thought to retirement at all. I am a good cricketer, so I will play a while longer. I still love the game as much as ever, it is my job but it remains my passion too.” A man who has aggregated a record of 12,773 runs with 42 hundreds and he is the first player to surpass the 10,000 runs in Tests.

He added, “I am not pleased yet with my performance and what I have done. Sunil Gavaskar told me that I have to go for 15,000 runs and if I could not make it, he will be very much angry on me and catch me if I could not make it. Winning the world cup 2011 is my next goal.”

A legendary cricketer is a role model to the nation and globe, charging himself for the next goals after reaching at this stage. Remember, in sports, 36-years old age is the biggest challenge and he wants to add another at least 2,200 runs. Generally, cricketer needs 12-15 tests to score 1000 runs, so he needs at least 24-30 tests to finish his targets. To achieve such goals he has to keep himself totally fit. Fitness is a prime mantra for the international sports player.

Sachin Tendulkar is a behavioral role model for the youth.

After by passing all the records and achieving most of the records of the cricket, he said, “I am not happy with my performance. I have to play longer. Cricket is not only sports or job for him; it is a passion for him.

Leadership is all about your loving work and work with love. When you love your work, you surpass most of the old records and some stage; you decide to surpass your own records as performance becomes your hunger.
