What is SLB?
SLB is an acronym of Self Limiting Belief. People gradually develop it as their habit.
People usually are not aware of this habit.
Some of the SLB, which people possess:
-> People must treat me fairly
-> People must find me likeable
-> I look sexy
-> I cannot control what I feel
-> I am not going to change
-> I will not share with people
-> I will not wake up early
-> I cannot live without smoke
-> I think bad times have made me strong….etc…
People lead their lives with such beliefs. It is developed consciously or subconsciously. And, found in behaviour.
SLB breaks down interpersonal relationship and interpersonal communication. And, won’t allow people to live at a full extend.
How to alter a self limiting belief?
Get aware of your SLB and know its positive impact in the professional and personal life. If you find negative impact or you receive feedback, which force you to rethink about yourself, and then resolve to be SLB free person. Get up right now. Go for ‘Self’ awareness. If you do not know yourself well then, ask your best friend or life partner to write about you. Obviously review it and resolve to remove it.
Removing all SLB overnight is almost impossible. Small improvements on the daily basis are possible and therefore it is achievable.
